Application blocking criteria

How to block candidates who do not meet your criteria from applying

What?

Configure the application blocking criteria for each of the active positions associated to your profile to receive only the right type of applications.

How?

  • Go to the position > Edit position > Application blocking criteria

You can add up to 3 different criteria for applications:

  • Work eligibility What right to work should applicants have?
  • Location Where should applicants be based or willing to relocate to?
  • Work preference What type of work should applicants be able to do? (Onsite/Hybrid/Remote)

Your criteria MUST match your position requirements or be more flexible. For example, if your position is Onsite/Hybrid in London and you can’t sponsor visas, then you can have the following criteria for applications:

  • Work eligibility: UK
    • You could also choose to allow temporary visas or not (up to you)
  • Location: Greater London, UK
    • You could go broader and select “United Kingdom” if you want people in other locations of the UK that are looking to relocate to still be able to apply.
  • Work preference: Onsite or Hybrid
    • You could open it up to Remote, but expect people who just look for remote work to apply.
    • You CAN’T restrict it to just “Onsite” or just “Hybrid” if your position is open for either. This means that people that could be eligible will be blocked from being able to apply.
