How to use the Recruitee integration
If you're using Recruitee as your ATS, you can link your positions on cord with your jobs on Recruitee and get people’s profiles sent automatically to the Applied section of your pipeline on Recruitee once the conversation on cord is started.

Integrate cord and Recruitee
To integrate your Recruitee account with cord, navigate to the integrations tab, in the Settings section. Click ‘Connect’.
You’ll need to set up an API token on Recruitee. To do this:
- Sign in to Recruitee
- Go to Settings
- Select Personal API tokens (under Apps and Plugins).
- Press + New Token in the upper right
- Name your token
- Copy the API token to your clipboard
- Enter the API token on cord
- You’ll also need to enter your ATS subdomain
Finding your ATS subdomain
On the same page you generate the API key, you’ll see ‘Current company details’. The bolded part of the subdomain is what you need - in the example below, the subdomain is cord

Import position from Recruitee
When creating a new position, you have the option of importing one from Recruitee. Selecting the drop-down imports the job title of the position and the job description, and automatically links it with the new position on cord.
People you start conversations with on cord about this position will now be auto-forwarded to the associated job on Recruitee, and arriving in the Applied section of your pipeline.
Link existing cord positions to Recruitee
You are also able to associate any position on cord with an existing Recruitee one. Clicking on a position and scrolling all the way down to the section called ‘Link your ATS position’, a drop down will provide the available positions. Once a position has been selected, scroll down and click on ‘Save Position’ to complete the association.
Automatically send candidates to Recruitee
With the positions linked, candidates will now automatically be sent to the Applied section in the pipeline of the associated position in Recruitee when you start a conversation. A conversation is started when you message a candidate and they accept, or vice versa.
cord will send the following to Recruitee: CV; email; phone number (if available) LinkedIn link (if available); languages spoken; skills.
Manually send candidates to Recruitee
If you do not wish for your candidates to be automatically forwarded from cord to Recruitee, you can turn this off in your Settings. The position will still be linked with the position on Recruitee, and you can manually send the person to that position by pressing the ATS button in the top right corner of the conversation.
FAQ
My position isn’t showing up on cord. Where is it?
Please check that the job status on Recruitee is set to Published on careers site. Jobs with statuses ‘Use internally’ or ‘Close for new candidates’ or ‘Archive’ will not appear. Please change the visibility of your job on Recruitee.
What information is autofilled from Recruitee when I import a position?
When you import a job from Recruitee to cord, the job title + job description will automatically populate. You’ll need to add the other details yourself.
When does the candidate CV send to Recruitee?
If you have automatic forwarding togged on (via Settings > Integrations), the CV will automatically send when the conversation is started. A conversation is started when you message a candidate and they accept, or visa versa. If you have automatic forwarding switched off, you can choose to send the CV to Recruitee at any point after the conversation is started, via the button in the top right corner of your inbox.
Where does the candidate CV go in Recruitee?
The candidate’s CV will go to the Applied section in the pipeline of the associated job.
What information is sent to Recruitee?
CV; email; phone number (if available) LinkedIn link (if available); languages spoken; skills
Who is assigned as the person who sent the candidate to Recruitee?
- if candidate is sent manually → the name of the company account
- if candidate is sent automatically → the name of the person that linked the specific position
My colleague already connected cord to Recruitee but it’s not working for me
Each cord user will need to go to Settings > Integrations and connect their Recruitee account themselves.
Why am I seeing a cord CV in Recruitee?
Recruitee only accepts CVs in PDF format. In cases where a candidate has uploaded their CV in doc.x or other formats, the cord generated CV (PDF) will be sent instead. To view the CV the candidate originally uploaded to cord, go to your message inbox and click on the top right to download CV.
